Soirée France Invest : « Hydrogène vert, une solution énergétique dès 20…20 ? »

Sophie Paturle-Guesnerot, Présidente de la Commission Climat de France Invest, a ouvert la soirée sur le thème de « L’Hydrogène vert, une solution énergétique dès 20…20 ? ».

Cette soirée a rassemblé 90 participants, financiers, industriels, entrepreneurs et pouvoirs publics, autour de ce sujet au premier plan de la transition écologique.

Le keynote speaker, Philippe Boucly, Président de l’AFHYPAC, a présenté le panorama général ainsi que les perspectives de développement en précisant que l’hydrogène est déjà une solution énergétique applicable dès aujourd’hui.

Une table ronde animée par Alexis Gazzo (Partner, EY) et rassemblant plusieurs acteurs du secteur  : Jean-Michel Amaré (CEO, Ataway), Valérie Bouillon-Delporte (Strategic Hydrogen Initiative Leader Michelin, Présidente Hydrogen Europe), Sabine Chabanon (CFO, Hynamics), Mathieu Gardies (CEO, HYPE), Michel Gioria (Directeur Régional Ile de France, ADEME), a présenté les applications concrètes et les leviers à mobiliser pour faire émerger cette filière.

Optimum Automotive, leader des services télématiques de gestion de flottes automobiles professionnelles en France accélère son développement en levant 14 M€.

Créée à Aix-en-Provence en 2006, Optimum Automotive, qui opère également sous la marque Mapping Control, fournit aux gestionnaires de flottes automobiles professionnelles (entreprises et collectivités) des services connectés leur permettant à la fois de réduire de façon mesurable leurs coûts d’exploitation, d’abaisser l’impact environnemental des flottes et de faciliter l’évolution vers le véhicule électrique et les nouvelles formes de mobilité comme l’autopartage ou le co-voiturage.

Optimum Automotive équipe à ce jour plus de 80 000 véhicules professionnels pour plus de 4 000 clients. Elle est présente sur le marché français, notamment en région parisienne ainsi qu’au Maroc et en Côte-d’Ivoire.

D’un montant total de 14 millions €, la levée de fonds est dirigée par Demeter à travers Paris Fonds Vert, dont c’est le 4ème investissement et associe Amundi ainsi que trois actionnaires historiques. Elle a pour objectif de financer une nouvelle étape de croissance de la société sur les marchés français et européens.

Le groupe Pinette PEI, participation du FEM depuis 2016, a conduit avec succès une opération de renforcement de son capital (LBO III) en juillet 2019. Les fonds ainsi levés servent à financer les ambitions de la société à l’international, notamment pour des acquisitions, et à accélérer la croissance par l’innovation. A cette occasion, GENEO Capital rejoint les deux investisseurs ‘historiques’ GEI et Demeter/FEM.

ALTEREA Group has announced a €5 million fundraising from Paris Green Fund, a growth capital fund for the ecological transition of large cities, managed by DEMETER. The objective of this raising is to enable the Group to further structure itself and accelerate its development, thus contributing to the challenge of reducing the energy and environmental footprint of buildings.

Demeter receives the 2019 “coup de coeur” award from the e5t Foundation

On the occasion of the 7th edition of its annual Summer University in La Rochelle, the e5t Foundation awarded yesterday 28 August to Demeter its 2019 “coup de coeur” award in recognition of its constant and determined commitment since 2005 to the energy transition.

Created in 2012 under the leadership of Myriam Maestroni, who is its president, the e5t Foundation is an independent think tank that facilitates the understanding, analysis and emergence of the best energy solutions to be implemented in order to preserve the environment, to respect the comfort of individuals and to contribute to the sustainable development of the society.

This award comes in addition to the “Best ESG Investment Firm of the Year” award received at the Private Equity Wire Awards in London in March and to the “Best Management Company” award in terms of ESG practices attributed by Swen Capital Partners to Demeter in July.

Demeter was also awarded from the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) a A+ grade (the highest grade) in July.

During the annual ceremony of the ESG Best Practices Honours organized by Swen Capital Partners, Demeter was awarded the best management company in terms of ESG practices in the Small Cap category.

This second ESG price awarded in 2019 rewards the consistency of our investment strategy, our business purpose “Supporting the champions of ecological growth” and encourages us to go even further in the development of our ESG policy and action plan.
